The Chairman of Sevastopol City State Administration Vladimir Yatsuba took part in the Ukraine-Russian Interregional economic forum, which was held in Donetsk on October 18-19, 2011 with participation of the President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych and the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev.

IV International Investment Summit DID 2011 took place within the framework of the forum. The Summit is the largest business forum in the country, conducted in Ukraine since 2008 and is the most authoritative meeting of Ukrainian and international business, devoted to the issues of economical development and investment prospects of Ukraine.

During the summit the issue of social and economic development of Sevastopol region was considered on the level of co-operation between the governments of Moscow and Sevastopol. This idea was supported by the President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych and the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev.
